Cooper & Cooper, P.C., was established in 1988. In January 1996, one of the founders of Cooper & Cooper, P.C., Robert Cooper, joined with Leonard Tanis to create Cooper & Tanis, P.C., which focused on family law in Colorado. In 2004, Robert and Leonard joined with Melody Fuller and Michael Cohen to form Cooper, Tanis, Fuller & Cohen, P.C., a firm dedicated to supporting families through divorce, separation, distribution of assets and all other aspects of family law.  In 2010, Cooper, Tanis, Fuller & Cohen, P.C. became Cooper, Tanis & Cohen, P.C.
