In January 1996, one of the founders of Cooper & Cooper, P.C., Robert Cooper, joined with Leonard Tanis to create Cooper & Tanis, P.C., which emphasized in family law. In 2004, Robert and Leonard joined with Melody Fuller and Michael Cohen to form Cooper, Tanis, Fuller & Cohen, P.C.
